There was one or two times I had to edit out a "Jared" and stick in a "Gerard".

YOU CAN REPLACE "FRANKIE" WITH "JENNY" IN YOUR MIND AND "GERARD" WITH "JARED" AND IT'LL STILL WORK!

But really, NOTHING will drag me away from SPN fandom. NOTHING!!!

I listened to this the other day, and of course you did an absolutely fabulous and sexy job reading it! ♥ And I positively adored your music choice.

And, it made me feel selfishly happy that you are actually in SPN fandom and not bandom. HAH. (Also, I really enjoyed the concept of this fic and basically wanted it to be turned into a Sam/Dean pre-series fic. >_>)

Holy fucking shit, you...this...OMG. OMG.

Okay, so first, I LOVE your voice, it's utterly perfect for this fandom and for these characters and I am so freaking into the way you envisaged them. For someone who isn't in the fandom, you absolutely nailed both Gerard and Frank--especially Frank. The amazing rhythm you used, the something in your voice that even sounds like a Jersey accent--maybe NY?--the way you perfectly captured "young gross and/or horny adorable nerdboys in luuuuuuuuuuv", the utterly sweet build-up that was given so much time and care and emotion. This is a story I loved written, a lot, but I think it's just become that rare beast: a story I love read more.

Second, and okay this is TMI, but I adore fanfic porn. I can read fic on trains and in cars and restaurants all the time without so much as getting fidgety no matter how smoking-hot it is...and holy fuck, listening to you read the second half of this fic was an experience. [coughs] The work shuttle bus went over some bumpy road this morning while I was listening--again--and I swear to god I had to stop the podfic and switch to music or, like, well, let's just say I REALLY ENJOYED THIS PODFIC KTHNX. So. Yes. That happened.

The fact that you've only read one story in bandom is making me D: right now, not even gonna lie. [sheepish grin] I very very earnestly encourage you to record more bandom. Like now. today. (tomorrow? what are you doing tomorrow? tomorrow's good...lol)

I sent a request for author permission on a nice, super hot longfic but haven't heard back, but another of the recs I was given was...just seemed PERFECT for podficcing but. Well. Just listen. I got your comment, and the very first sentence had me sort of limp with relief, a OKAY WHEW I GUESS SHE DOESN'T THINK I'M THE MOST TMI FREAK WHO EVER TMI'D. go me! And then I got to the bottom and was like...wait.

And then I made some noises which I think could best be described as "dolphin glee" and actually clapped my hands because--more bandom! more fic! YAY!! She wrote it after all! I am the champion! [giggles]

And then I clicked the link, and thought--wait, didn't I write an open letter to fandom myselfl OMG WHAT did she NO SHE DIDN'T omg she did OMG SHE DID and then my dolphin glee noises actually got a little embarrassing and my pet mice were looking at me funny and I had to have a quiet lie down. Except I had my quiet lie down while listening to the recording, so I don't know it was as restful as it could have been. [grins]
